So you've been assigned to present something in front of the class? This page will give you plenty of tools and tips to make sure your presentation not only gets you a good grade, but doesn't put your classmates to sleep.
Main Presentation Platforms
  • Powerpoint
  • Google Presentations --very similar to Powerpoint, but FREE. PLUS it gives you the ability to collaborate on a presentation. This means group members can all design the presentation together, online, from any computer.
  • Prezi -- this is a "zooming" presentation platform that you really need to see to understand. You need to be eighteen to create an account, so you might need a parent to do this for you if you want to use it.
  • Websites -- designing a website has never been easier.
    • -- a flash based web design tool that includes plenty of pre-made graphics, animations and tons of other stuff.
    • Wikispaces -- Probably the easiest tool for creating a quick website (wiki means fast in Hawaiian) You can upload pictures, videos, and any file type, and embed tons of cool widgets.
    • Google Sites -- Very similar to wikispaces. If you have a Gmail account, you can access this site without signing up.
    • -- another free, easy to use web design platform
  • Glogster - creates a "digital poster" which is essentially a web page. You could design several glogs and link them together.
  • Photostory
